Strongly smelling essential oils, such as peppermint and clove oil, can repel mice. Mice have a very sharp sense of smell that is much stronger than what humans experience. You can use this trait to repel mice and use scents that mice hate, such as cinnamon, vinegar, drying wipes, clove oil, mint, tea bags, mint toothpaste, ammonia, clove, clove oil, and cayenne pepper.
Dryer wipes can repel mice and rodents and keep them away, but it's not a promising solution for long-term rodent elimination.
